Setup steps

  1. Copy the ready-made text in the wizard (including the list of methods to request) and send it to your Arvento representative; read-only web service access is requested.
  2. Enter the username, PIN1 and PIN2 (they are the same in Arvento). The credentials are checked against Arvento before saving, stored encrypted and never shown again.
  3. Choose the vehicle group that contains all your rental vehicles (group them in the Arvento panel beforehand).
  4. Devices are matched to your vehicles automatically by plate, or by chassis number if needed; you can link unmatched ones by hand or choose Yok say (Ignore).
  5. Link the regions you defined in Arvento for your branches to the branches; whether a vehicle is at the office is read from these regions.
  6. Optionally enter the current odometer readings of the matched vehicles in bulk; mileage suggestions then start without waiting for the first handover.

After setup the row shows Bağlı (Connected) or Bağlantı hatası (Connection error); open it to see the status, match counts and the last error. You can update the matching, vehicle group, branch regions and starting mileage from here. Under Eşikler (Thresholds) you set the mileage deviation threshold (default the larger of 50 km or 3%) and the movement-without-reservation threshold (default 5 km).

Tracking status and location in the fleet

The System Administrator, Technical & Operations and Branch Managers (vehicles in their own branch) see a tracking chip under each vehicle in the fleet list: "5 dk · Girne Şube" (5 min · Kyrenia branch, in the branch region), "12 dk · Ofis dışı" (12 min · Off site) or "26 sa · veri yok" (26 h · no data, the device has not sent data for more than a day). The list also has an at branch / other region / outside regions / no data / no tracking device filter. On the vehicle page, Konumu göster (Show location) on the Araç takip (Vehicle tracking) card shows the address and a Haritada aç (Open in map) link.

Location is not stored in the app; every view is logged for data protection with who and when (Settings › KVKK records › Location access). Other roles do not see tracking information.

Mileage suggestion at handover and return

If the vehicle is matched to a device, the handover/return screen shows "Arvento önerisi: ≈ 68.450 km · son veri 14:32" (Arvento suggestion · last data) and a Kullan (Use) button under the mileage field. The field is not filled in automatically; press Kullan or type the odometer value. If the value you enter differs clearly from the suggestion, you are warned before confirming. The reservation details of a rented vehicle also show the rental mileage measured by the tracking system, with an allowance bar if there is a mileage limit.

Movement without a reservation

Every night the system checks the previous day: if a vehicle travelled more than the threshold outside reservation hours, or its ignition was switched on at night, it is listed in the Rezervasyonsuz hareket (Movement without a reservation) box at the top of the Fleet page (plate, day, km, first–last time). Choose a reason with Açıkla (Explain) (wrong reservation time, missing record, transfer, service/wash, unauthorised use, other) and the record is closed. Open records from the last 7 days also appear on the home screen; records are kept for 24 months.

Vehicle usage report

Araç kullanımı (Vehicle usage) under Reports shows fleet utilisation based on the mileage measured by the tracking device, a fleet pulse by category and a comparison by vehicle (System Administrator, Technical & Operations and Branch Managers for their own branch). See Reports and exports.
